The grade 7 year as a whole was alright. Not good, not bad but alright.
2. Some challenging times this year were when there was lots of (girl) drama and we had to stress about that. That happened a lot this year. Another time was when Tara left to move back to Lethbridge, because she is one of my best friends, her moving was really hard! Also, all year I knew that Jaxon was leaving so I had to try not to think about that too much. I also didn't find band that interesting which made it challenging to do.
3. I was thankful to have such amazing friends and my sister to comfort and support me. I could tell them all my feelings and get it off of my mind, then I could focus better.
4. Some of the most significant things I learned were how to cope with certain people and teachers that I don't like that much. Also, I learned that I need to pay attention and study because it will affect my grades.
5. I think my faith with God grew a little bit but not at school. At YC I became closer to God because of the theme and the speakers. At school it's like you learn the same thing each year.
6. I think I'm not as prepared as I could be because every year gets harder and I've heard that grade 8 is hard in certain areas. I'm not super excited for grade 8 because Miss Mason is leaving the and schools getting new teachers that aren't her. Also, it's the last year I get with most of my friends before they go to different high schools.
7. I've heard from lots of family members and friends that grade eight is one of the hardest years for lots of things, so I think that there will be lots of drama and the school work will get harder to prepare us for high school.
8.Some goals I have for the summer are to get a job so that I have money to start off the year and to have a really fun summer so that it's not a waste of my life, just sitting and watching T.V. for two months. Some goals for next year are to stay active because I have always had problems with that. I really want to make it onto the Sr. girls basketball team again because it's fun and a challenge. I also want to make new friends either with the new kids or people I'm not that close with. I want to stay on/get Honer Roll.
I've had good times and bad times this year. Out of 10, I would give it a 5. I'm kind of glad it will be over soon, but I feel that way about every year!
